When you are lighting your soy candle for the first time, it is important to trim your wick to 1/4" and allow your soy candle to reach a full melt on the first burn. Soy wax has a "memory" which helps to keep the candle from "tunneling" down the center of the container. Tunneling is one of the main causes for a candle not creating much fragrance while burning! By allowing your soy candles to create the initial "memory burn", thus creating a full melt pool of wax, you are increasing the candle's scent throw.
Our candles come in an 8.5oz container. Small to medium candles (7-10oz) will almost never be able to fill a large room with fragrance. If some wax is left on the sides, it will not affect the quality of the candle. The amount of scent throw will vary per fragrance and burning conditions. Our wax melts come in 2.75oz containers and will fill a medium to large room with fragrance when used with a wax melt warmer.
Broken Items during Shipping
Items are packaged with the highest level of care. While our goal is to have zero damaged shipments, breakage does happen time to time due to shipping. In the event that 1 or more of your items break, your package has shipping insurance!!!! Please take a picture of the broken item inside the packaging and box along with the shipping label. Send your pictures along with the names of the items that were damaged to email@example.com and a replacement will be sent out within 3 business days.
Frosting or "wet spots' on candles
During the fall and winter months-some candles may develop a light flaky appearance called "frosting" and is very common with candles made from soy wax. Some may also develop clear "wet spots" due to the colder temperatures during shipping. This will not effect the candle burn or scent throw of your candle. We do not issue refunds for this as it is a normal trait of soy candles.
How do you ship your items?
Items are shipped USPS 1-3 Day Priority Mail unless customer chooses otherwise at checkout. Orders placed on the weekend will ship the next business day.
Wrong shipping address
It is your responsibility to make sure you are entering the shipping address correctly. Please double check your addresses to make sure they are correct. Especially if you are sending the as a gift. Unfortunately, I cannot be held responsible if you enter a wrong shipping address. I have no way of knowing if the shipping address is correct or incorrect. If an item cannot be delivered and is returned to me, it is your responsibility to pay for the item to be reshipped. If you happen to catch that the shipping address is wrong BEFORE the item ships, please send me a message and I will be more than happy to enter the correct shipping address for you. Thank you for understanding!
Can my item be sent as a gift?
Yes. Items will be sent with a personalized, handwritten message. Please leave the person's name and your message for them in the notes section at checkout. If items are being shipped directly to them, pleas use their address during checkout. Gift wrapping is not available at this time.
I am shipping several candles as gifts. Can I send them to multiple addresses?
Yes. If you could please purchase them separately per shipping address that works perfect!!!
